About Laura Nicole

Originally from Kentucky, Laura Nicole's home base is currently in Georgia, but she and her husband jump at every opportunity to see the world. Consumed by reading and writing fantasy, she's forever seeking opportunities to learn and grow, with a focus on promoting literacy in all ages. On her journey to constantly improve, she's spearheading a group quest to read 500 books in 5 years across many genres. #500booksin5years

Hobbies

Besides writing, Laura Nicole is often scrubbing paint from her fingers and wondering what left that suspicious stain on her favorite shirt. Probably ketchup. Or chocolate. She loves to bake and blogged new recipes during the dark days of 2019 and 2020 (not too dissimilar from Luke's Dark Day #GilmoreGirls).

Before, after, and during work she jumps straight into taking care of her body in her home gym, by going on walks, doing yoga with friends, and on her walking pad. All that to balance the chocolate covered almonds and other treats.

When not attending artist and craft fairs for her husband's woodworking business (@kobacuttingboards), she's learning a new skill, watercoloring, making stain glass art, pet sitting, fighting with Photoshop and Illustrator, joking about videos and reels to make that will never get made, starting yet another spreadsheet for an upcoming trip, sewing (clothes usually), doing photoshoots for friends, mastering a new skill on the Cricut, learning German (or Spanish, or general linguistics), and cranking through another audiobook on 3x speed. Usually multitasking many of these. No wonder her house always needs to be cleaned.
